boston hotel

We are 4 women spending a Friday and Saturday night stay in Boston in November, to celebrate a 50th birthday. With a promotional rate at the Fairmont, I was given comparable rates at the Radisson (Stuart St.) and the Fairmont Copley. Which is a better area to stay?

Fairmont, Fairmont, Fairmont.. It is in the middle of Copley Square, a block or two from Newbury Street (our version of Rodeo Drive), Copley Library, Skipjacks Seafood, the Duck Tour, great seafood restaurants and a walk to the theatre district. The Radisson isn't that bad..really..there are alot of restaurants in the area includig Legal, and one of the best things is a new play opening IN the Radisson called Respect.. with a dear friend and talented woman, Kathy St. George. Around the corner is the Shubert, the Wilbur and the Colonial...all in all.. I'd rather stay at the Fairmont.. oh yes.. ask about their dog you can take for a walk...

Definately the Fairmont that was once the Copley Plaza. I saw Richard Burton and Liz Taylor when they stayed there)
You will be across from the Beautiful Trinity Church, Copley Square , Copley Place and that's next to Prudential Center. If you arrive early on Friday, you'll see the farmers' market just opposite the front door.
