Boston Duck Tour?
 

We're going to Boston this weekend and wondering if it's worth it to take this tour? Any other tours that are better?<BR><BR>I appreciate any and all opinions!<BR><BR>Thanks!

Hi Lisa,<BR><BR>My hubby/I were in Boston back in 97. Had a great time on the duck tour. Be sure to take a jacket so you won't get wet. If you like computers, the computer musuem is fun. You can learn about the history of computers, play games and more. Have a good time.

As with several other Boston posts in past weeks, remember that this is Marathon weekend in Boston. The city will be exciting, but more crowded.

The Duck Tour is great - don't miss it!

The Duck Tour is indeed great fun. But part of the route goes through an area that will be roped off for the marathon, so do try to take the tour ASAP, like Saturday morning. It might even be a good idea to actualy call them on the phone right now to ask how they're coping with Marathon weekend; you also should buy your tickets in advance if possible, as the tours WILL sell out on this most touristy of weekends.<BR><BR>The Duck Tours are mostly for fun, and are not a hop-on-hop-off type of experience, so take it but don't expect the standard historical-narrated-tour thing. (I have heard that the narration on the trolleys in Boston is full of errors anyway).<BR><BR>The Computer Musem unfortunately closed a few years ago, but the Museum of Science has some of their stuff.
