Boston - Double Tree

Anyone ever stay in the Double Tree hotel in the Financial District???

LizaMay, what's the address of the hotel you're checking out? There's no Doubletree Hotel in the financial district. There's a new Doubletree on Washington Street which, depending upon your point of view is either in the theater district or the old combat zone, but nothing near that part of central Boston that is generally thought of as the financial district.

If your query is about the one on Washington Street, it is too new to likely have drawn many visitors who will see your message. I've seen the building from the outside and it certainly looks attractive. The location is not bad for visiting the area (Back Bay, the Public Garden, etc.).

We've stayed at the Doubletree Downtown in Boston. It's just fine.

You'll find lots of reviews on TripAdvisor.com

We stayed at the Doubletree. Although the hotel itself was fine. I have never heard so much noise from the streets in a hotel ever. At 2am on a Saturday night when the clubs emptied out people hooted, hollered and honked their horns. It was awful. If you stay get a room away from the street.

Well, I heard that there'd be sirens all night long due to ambulances arriving at the next-door hospital, but we didn't notice any.
