Try Maggiano's Little Italy on Columbus Avenue. Then go to Finale for dessert, which is across the street. Maggiano's can accommodate your party in a private room. Meals are served family style, and although, its not a buffet, it is all you can eat.

check out Oleana in Cambridge. The food is terrific. It's a small space. I don't know if they can accomodate you. If they can't I'd ask them for a recommendation.<BR>I once asked them for a caterer and they steered me in the right direction.

I'd go right to the Bay Tower room. Pricey, but excellent atmosphere. Live entertainment on weekend evenings. Great view of the city. Food is good; not gourmet, but wide variety and nice presentation.

I absolutely love Mistral and they have a terrific, separate function room. It's tres chic! They are convienently located in the South End. The food is a dream - veggie options, excellent seafood concoctions and great meat dishes. <BR><BR>As a second choice, I would look into Lucca in the North End - fabulous handmade pastas and not as expensive (or chic - but still plenty stylish) as Mistral. Best yet: They validate parking for $1.00, which is unheard of in Boston and it's only a short walk away. They have a great function room on the lower level.<BR><BR>Good luck!
