Boston "Crab Fest" restaurant??

Several years ago I went to Boston in the summer and we came upon a restaurant that was having "Crab Fest" month. I believe the month was also July? I can't remember the name of the restaurant but the food was very good. We'll be in Boston this weekend and wondered if anyone could tell me the name of this restautant. We love crab so it would be great to go back and try it again.

Boston is known more for lobster than crab, you sure it wasn't lobster? Could you be thinking of Baltimore, which is a lot more famous for crab.

Zootsi... Yup, it was definitely Boston. Never been to Baltimore or anywhere else in MD! I know that Boston is known for lobster more than crab which is why the crab stuck out so much. I'd prefer crab anyday to lobster.

I've been searching websites but haven't come up with anything. Someone from Beantown just has to know!

Think it is Dixie Kitchen on Mass Ave close to the Christian Science Church. Good Cajun/creole style cheap eats.

Maybe it was Red Lobster.

Liza..I think you win the prize. Where is Skipjacks? Do you happen to know if they have a website?

There are 2 Skipjacks -- one in Brookline, and the other is in Copley Square on St. James Street.

Liza is correct about Skipjack's, but I also discovered last year that the Crab Fest is only offered at the Boston location, not in Brookline. Don't know about this year, as I haven't seen any advertising for it.
