Borgata Buffet? Is it airline food?

Going to Borgata for New Year's Eve to see Kevin James--love him! My husband like high-end dining (of which there is plenty at the Borgata), however, we are going with another couple & their 2 teens. The couple will be paying $420 for 4 tickets to the show, and I don't think they would appreciate spending another $400 on dinner. Is the buffet an option? Or is it just awful?

Airlines don't have food anymore, silly! :-)

Not true, silly. I just flew to LA from JFK last Wed (American) and they served a tray that had foodlike items on it that they called dinner. i had a choice of beef bourgandy or rubber pene. It came with a hardball (roll), shiny little veggies, and a slice of dessert that had no flavor whatsoever. Couldn't even tell what kind of cake it was--by taste or by looking at it. That is why I don't eat those things. I use skymeals. www.skymeals.com

My point exactly. That's not food!

We had the breakfast buffet at the Borgata last October -- Nothing to write home about.

The breakfast buffet at the Golden Nugget in LV was far superior to the one we had at Borgata. ((b))

We did the dinner buffet in 4/2004 and were pleasantly suprised. It was fairly priced with lots of seafood, especially muscles, clams and shrimp. Real tablecloths and napkins. Just remember that it's AC and not LV, enjoy and pig-out!
