Booth Bay, ME Advice

We have picked Booth Bay Harbor for a last- minute, post-Labor Day, central Maine coast, trip. Can you please offer suggestions of your favorite lodging in that general area?
Thanks

Our favorite place to stay in Boothbay Harbor is the Tugboat Inn.

Recommend checking reviews on TripAdvisor and booking forthwith for Labor Day weekend...

A few years ago we rented a house in Boothbay Harbor for the week following Labor Day. It was very reasonable! Unfortunately I don't remember the realtor's name, but I believe we got it through the town's Chamber of Commerce...

Last year we stayed at the Topside Inn for 2 or 3 nights right after Labor Day. The owners bought & renovated it fairly recently (within the past few years) and they did an absolutely fantastic job. Loved the grounds/views from hilltop, convenient location, excellent breakfast, gracious hosts.

2006-stayed at Spruce Point Inn. It was very nice; pricey; not directly in town. I thought the Tug Boat looked interesting and a great location in town.

Be sure to eat at the Lobsterman's Coop and the Lobster Dock - yum. :)
