Bookstore in San Francisco?
 

My mom and I traveled to San Francisco about 10 years ago and there was a wonderful, huge, used book store. It was like Powell's in NYC. I can't remember the name of it and I can't find it on Google. Can anyone help me think of the name? We are returning this summer and would like to visit the store again, if it's still there. Thanks!

Could it be Green Apple Books on Clement Street? Even if it is not the one you are looking for, you should check it out when you're in the city. It is a great bookstore.

City Lights?

I agree with Kitty, must be City Lights on Columbus.

There WAS another one in the downtown area, maybe Taylor close to Market? But this one is out of business for long time.

There is also a small store on Polk street approximately at Pine.
