Booking Greenwich Food Tour--need help ASAP!

Of the choice between Saturday and Sunday, would one day be better than the other to take the foodsofny.com tour of Greenwich? We will be doing Ellis Island the opposite morning after a decision is made. Tickets are selling fast, so I need to decide soon. I hate to book a "rain or shine" outdoor activity without knowing what the weather will be...but...

Can't give info on the tours - but please note that "Greenwich" is an upscale town in Connecticut from which many people commute to work in NYC.

If you're referring to the neighborhood in NYC - you can say either Greenwich village - or "the Village". If you say Greenwich you'll can be causing a lot of confusion.

Thanks nytraveler. I'm quite familiar with Greenwich, CT and am somewhat familiar with the "lay of the land" in NYC. Sorry for the quick post and for any confusion I caused.

Definitely Saturday. Having just recently done the tour, I'd be surprised if some of the places we went to are open on Sundays. You'll probably still go the same number of places, but the variety may not be as nice as what we had.

Thanks, happytourist! I went ahead and booked the Saturday tour. I think we will really enjoy this. Question...did you do anything else on that end of town before the tour began? I'm just trying to fit in as much sightseeing as we can.

Our tour started at 11:00 so we didn't have time to do very much before we got there. The tour was supposed to last until 2:00, but it actually went until 2:45 as the guide was so good and we were having such a great time. I wouldn't overschedule the day. You will have a wonderful time!
