Booking a hotel in Coeur d'Alene Idaho

I need to go to Coeur d'Alene for one night next week and was hoping to use Priceline or Quickbook but I don't see the town listed. Anyone know of a good discount booking site for hotels in Coeur d'Alene?

I don't know if those are "good" but for starters: Expedia, Hotels.com. TripAdvisor has a comparison chart.

I would just call the CDA Resort direct. They have a website. It's really the place to stay in Coeur d'Alene and the rooms aren't that much...$149-199.

There really isn't much available. You could try Priceline for Spokane or Post Falls. It seems to me that Hotwire had the Red Lion in Post Falls available (at least last year). Post Falls is only about 15 minutes away. Spokane is about 40 minutes.

There is a Best Western in Coeur d'Alene, and of course the actual Coeur d'A'lene resort. We were in Spokane last year and stayed at Mirabeau Park in Spokane Valley which is like East Spokane area, it only took us about 25 minutes to get from there to the lake. Post Falls is also a nice area as mentioned. Anyway, I searched on Expedia for Coeur d'Alene and several hotels came up.

CdA gets really booked out this time of year, between Silverwood, the Resort, the golf course etc. So, hotel bargains are few and far between.

I have the best luck with the AAA web-site. I don't think you have to be a AAA member to use the site.

The Red Lion Post Falls Resort is a good alternative if you want a place on some water.
