thanks for the info Joeg. We are trying to locate the Boeing Factory in Seattle. How far out of Seattle is the factory. Which direction and approximate travelling time from downtown Seattle.

Here's a really good Seattle map (actually for public transit) which shows neighborhoods.

Click on any of them and you will get more detail.

Seattle factory is actually in Everett, north of Seattle.
Here's the website -- lots of info including driving directions:

http://www.boeing.com/companyoffices/aboutus/tours/

If your question is about the 747/777 assembly facility (which offers free public tours) then Helpful is correct, it's in Everett, about a half hour drive north of Seattle (arrive early in the day if you're visiting in summer as the tours are usually full all day long and you may have to wait for an opening.) Several tour companies offer inclusive bus tours from downtown Seattle to the plant (at a fee, of course.) If your enquiry was aimed at locating a Boeing factory for business travel, be advised that the company has plants and facilities all over the Puget Sound region, as well as all over the country and world, soon to include a new corporate HQ in some non-Washington place, which really has us locals steamed.
