BOB
Going to see a night game mid May-Where are the best seats to get a view but not baking in the sun?

If you want to attract more replies you might consider re-posting with "Bank One Ballpark" in the title.
Most people will bypass a post titled "bob". |
I was wondering which Bob you were referring to :)
|
My first thought was that it was maybe something about Bob Brown.

Huh! You're going to a night game and are worried about baking in the sun. Phoenix isn't the land of the midnight sun. Trust me the sun will set.
If it is the heat you are concerned with your seat location really shouldn't make any difference. The good news is that while May is hot, it isn't one of our hotter months. Perhaps you'll be there when the roof is closed. |
You might want to repost with "BOOB" in your header.

Made me think of the Bill Murray movie "What About Bob?".

Don't worry about the sun if you are going to a night game. As we do not observe daylight savings time in AZ, the sun sets earlier than you would think. Also if it has been hot (This is likely) the roof will be closed anyway, which blocks most direct sunlight.

Everyone in the Phoenix area knew what "BOB" he was referring to. Having been at a couple of night games, including one in mid-June, it is most likely that the roof will be open before the game if it is not over 100. If it is uncomfortable before the game starts, they close the roof. The BOB is airconditioned. As previously mentioned, the sun set early even in the summer in AZ so you will not have to worry too much about the sun. Enjoy a truly great park to watch a baseball game.

Bank One Ballpark was the first thing I thought of. Check out the d-backs site, http://arizona.diamondbacks.mlb.com
