Comments on this hotel. Rates are ~ $43 a night. Seems to be center stip. Is location good?

it is a dump.....try Flaming or Bally`s or Harrahs

Avoid this one unless the extra $10-20 to get a MUCH better strip room is too much for your budget, or you already live in a trailer park.

What's with the attitude-Randy-? I'm noticing this alot on this site lately. A simple question was asked and a rude reply given!<BR><BR>To answer your question, no it isn't the best place to stay.

It's not the worst place to stay if it is priced less than other rooms. I stayed there over christmas cause it was a good 20 to 30 dollars less than other places. It is a standard holiday inn room and the location is excellent. if you don't plan on spending much time in the room anyway, i would take it if it is cheaper. if it is only slightly less expensive you may want to stay somewhere else.

My husband and I stayed at the Boardwalk the weekend of New Year's Eve. We stayed there because it was hundreds cheaper than the other hotels on the Strip. The hotel is in a great location - near the Bellagio, MGM, New York New York, Paris, etc. The room was fine - just a basic Holiday Inn room. All we were looking for was a clean place to sleep, and for this purpose, it was fine. The food was terrible, though - eat elsewhere. All in all, the hotel is decent, though not my first preference, of course. If you are not going over a holiday weekend, you might be able to get a good deal at a nicer hotel on the Strip. Another thing to think about: I recently read on biddingfortravel.com (a website that discusses Priceline.com) that someone Pricelined a room for around $26/night at the Boardwalk. You might want to consider Pricelining a hotel room in Vegas.

You can get a room at the Flamingo for $45, Monte Carlo for $69, Paris for $79 and even Mandalay Bay for $69. I've checked ALL the sites almost daily and those are the best current prices.
