Blues Music

Two baby-boomers are planning a road trip, including the Blues Trail in Mississippi, but we'd like to find venues for music throughout our journey from Florida to California, up the coast, and back.

Any suggestions?
While I found vague mentions here and there, didn't find a forum addressing this topic

Thanks

I'd like very much to read about your trip to Mississippi, as I have a trip like that on my future list.

Hi again bkinton1858-- just posted on your other road trip thread. For blues, check out Clarksdale, Mississippi-- considered "Birthplace of the Blues." It is about 90 miles from Memphis.

If you are going through Denver, see what is playing at Red Rocks-- spectacular!

How much do you want to zigzag? Nashville, Mussel Shoals, St. Louis, Memphis, Clarksdale, Tupelo, New Orleans, Eunice, San Antonio, Austin, LA, SF, Seattle...? And I'm sure that measly list insults plenty of people too.
