Blues Bar in the Keys
 

Can someone please recommend a good, unpretentious blues club/bar in the Florida Keys...weblinks would be much appreciated also...

One stop might be the Green Parrot Bar in Key West.... don't mention Jimmy Buffett and you'll be welcome at this scruffy but lovable locals hangout... lotsa blues and beer and the characters Key West is famous for... check the website...

For Chicago blues look for a three man group called Caffeine Carl and the Buzz. They generally play at the SWB but will also show up at the Half Shell of an afternoon. The harmonica player, Alabama Gil, sounds like a young Paul Butterfield.

For Delta blues, there is a black man who sings at the sunset pier at the Ocean Key Resort at 0 Duval Street. You'd swear it was Muddy Waters.
