BlueRidge Parkway Accomodations

I plan on driving the BlueRidge Parkway in October and am interested in nice but affordable accomodations along the way.

I appreciate any help.

I think you need to put a $$ amount as an upper limit.

Accommodations accessible directly from the parkway are few. Bluffs Lodge and Mt Pisgah Inn are two I know of that I have actually used. There are cabins at Rocky Knob.

There are numerous motels just off of the parkway in small towns and cities like Asheville.

October is prime leaf season. Things can get crowded.

You may need to map out your itinerary and pick towns near the Parkway and search for motels. As the other poster said, accomodations get filled for the mid-month so it isn't too soon to look.

Hi. One of the nicest places i know of on the Blueridge parkway is the mount Pisgah inn. Book ahead as it fills up daily.

Arkansas - that's a good price. Although not the best part of town, that hotel quoted me $130 a couple of weeks ago for a reg. room.
