Blue Man Group in Chicago

We are taking out of town guests to see Blue Man Group in Chicago. What are the chances of us getting paint on us if we are right behind the poncho seats? Also, they would like to go out for Chicago Pizza after the show. What's good that is close by the Briar Street? Thanks.

Not sure about the show in Chicago, but in New York we were in the "poncho seats" and there was no paint, no water, no nothing. I sat there in plastic the whole show for nuthin".

We have been to seee the show twice. Once sitting in the second row...definately the 'wet zone'. We did get quite a bit of splatter. One of the kids actually tasted it and said that it tasted like vanilla pudding! It just may depend on the show...it is never the same twice. Our guests did get some of it splattered on them. I don't remember what color it was, but when they got home and washed it, it came right out w/ no staining.

If you are really concerned about it, perhaps I would ask if you could exchange them. The show is incredible no matter where you sit! Enjoy!

Take a couple of dollar cab ride straight down Clark street (south). It's called My Pie (it's actually shown as the mathematical symbol), just north of Fullerton. Great pizza, alcohol, fire place and huge salad bar.

My Pie is a good suggestion, you might also try Giordano's for stuffed pizza at 1040 W. Belmont (less than 1/2 mile away) or Lou Malnati's for Chicago deep dish at 958 W. Wrightwood (Sheffield and Lincoln, less than 1 mile away).

Thanks. I was thinking about Lou Malnati's. I have never been to My Pie. How does it compare? I am sure it is a matter of taste but curious about what others think.
