blackjack tables with low hands ?

In Las Vegas are their certain hotels that have low blackjack hand tables? Or certain times of the day/night when they typically lower minimums? My husband and I are not high rollers!!

The downtown hotels or places off the strip.

I was in Vega$ two weeks ago. We played 3.00 Blackjack at the Riviera, Slots of Fun, Sahara, Strat., Excal and of course downtown always has some good tables going.

Sometimes they raise the minimum t 5.00 on weekends and at night at a few of these places.

Have a GREAT time!

I agree with everybody who says downtown. I can always find a three dollar table there. Sahara generally has $3.00 tables too. Also Tgbwc thanks for the tip about the Riv. I used to gamble there for five dollars and the last time I went all of their tables were $10.00. It's good to know that they lowered their rates.
I don't know how far you want to go but Nevada Palace often has $1.00 BlackJack. Its about 15min from the strip and the place is a little dingy but I had a fairly good time there.

I second (third?) the suggestion of the Sahara, for places on the strip. The Sahara is great for low(er) rollers. Downtown will probably offer more choices as well.

It is all about time and demand. Gamble on the strip before 10AM and you can find $5.00 tables at all but the high level casinos. Not an early riser?....try the very late night...3AM and on, you can find the same thing.

Many have at least a few $10 BJ tables except perhaps on weekends and the most expensive places.

If you are looking for less than 5-10 range, you need to go downtown or off the strip. Sams town, Palace casinos, etc. will get ya $5.00 or less most times.

Last time I was in LV spent an enjoyable afternoon playing blackjack for $2.00 per hand at Arizona Charlies on Decatur (while the wife was shopping nearby). I was the only non-local at my table, and one of my fellow players was a retired cab driver who spent 30 years driving a cab in LV, he entertained the whole table with his stories of LV in the 1960's and 70's.
