Blackberry Inn Camden, MA
 

Has anyone stayed at the Blackberry Inn, specifically the carriage house? Let us know your thoughts.

Do you mean Camden, Maine (ME)? I live in Massachusetts and have never heard of Camden, MA.

Did a search on Google - I think you do mean Maine. Inn has a website at blackberryinn.com I have never been there, though.

I am fairly certain we stayed at the Blackberry Inn on one trip to Camden. We did not stay in the carriage house. To my memory it is on the left side of the main street as you come into Camden from the south. We also stayed at the Belmont. We found the Blackberry Inn to be a bit odd...I think stiff and the Belmont a place we would return to in a heartbeat. I did just read that the Belmont changed hands. So you might want to check it out with folks.

I just found out that the people who own the Elms next door just bought the Blackberry and are doing some renovations. They're also adding a new suite and adding some whirlpool tubs etc.. I think they'll both be known as the "Inns at Blackberry Common" or BLackberry Square, something like that.

Jon. They're putting us in the inn next door, so it seems it might be the other way around. Thanks for the reply.
