Bites of Boston food tour
Has anybody taken this tour? We've enjoyed food tours in NYC, wondering if this would be good?

I haven't taken that tour but these tours of the North End and Chinatown are well-reviewed. http://www.bostonfoodtours.com/
They all look good. |
Thanks for another option! Hadn't heard of that one yet.

Another try to see if there is any feedback...
Also found a "non-food" tour if anybody has any feedback on this: http://www.bostonbyfoot.org/ ~Liz |
I have taken both Boston food tours with Michele Topor's company. Both are great. Went on the North End tour with friends. Dragged city hating husband on the Chinatown tour and he loved it. If you choose either of these, you will not have time to do any shopping so plan to go back later.

Thanks, dfrostnh,
Wno't be shopping as we're training up from Phila. Looks like the Michele Topor company is well reguarded, though. ~Liz |
Boston by Foot has been giving tours for years and years. It is a non-profit dedicated to training guides to lead tours for both tourists and locals. I think you'll enjoy it.

Like cw says, Boston by Foot has been around for years and has a good reputation. Even though I'm a local, I've taken 2-3 of their tours and have enjoyed all of them.
