Birthday in San Diego
 

I will be traveling to San Diego in February with my boyfriend. His birthday falls on one of the last days of our trip and I'm looking for something to do with him to celebrate. Any good bars with live, local music maybe? Any help is greatly appreciated!

What day of the week would this be? There is a lot more choices on the weekends then weekdays...About how old are you both? Do you want to dance? Or just listen? What kind of music? Jazz, rock, reggae?

Look for a place in the Gaslamp...lots of after hours places there.

As Heavens asked it depends on your age range. There are a lot of fun bars in Pacific Beach and La Jolla.

We are 24 and 25. I think we're more the listening to music type than dancing really, but who knows how beautiful San Diego will effect us!

You could book a night a Tower 23..hip new hotel on Pacific Beach with a great Bar..so I hear!

If you can't book a room..have dinner and then end up at Tower 23 and a nice walk on the beach.
