Biltmore Hotel - Downtown LA- Where to eat nearby?

We're planning on taking a Sunday tour of the Biltmore at 2PM in a couple of weeks. We are meeting some friends beforehand for lunch. We need suggestions for a moderately priced restaurant nearby. Any ideas? Open to pretty much anything, though one of our friends does not especially enjoy Chinese food. Emphasis on healthy rather than heavy and greasy appreciated. Thanks.

The Water Grill is very good and located on the same block.
A fun idea might be to walk over to Grand Central Market and choose from one of the many food stalls. It's cheap, tasty and everyone can choose their own cuisine.

I was going to suggest the Grand Central Market as well, lots of options to choose from. Not really a restaurant atmosphere obviously, pretty busy and loud so not sure if that works for you.

Thanks for the great suggestion, logandog and Wherearewe: Our friends love Farmers' Markets and so do we. The Fairfax Farmers' Market is one of my favorite places.. Sounds perfect. Amazing to think that locals like ourselves have never been to the Grand Central Market.

There are a couple of GCM photos on our mini day trip to downtown L.A. that included Angels Flight, the Biltmore and Grand Central Market.

By the way, we really liked The Lazy Ox Canteen downtown for lunch. I have included that link to my report, too.

Angels Flight is nice, and quick too. Last year there was an outdoor ice skating rink near the Biltmore, in Pershing Square I think. That was fun as well.
