Biloxi, "fairly reasonable"
We will be spending 2-3 nights here in April. Would like any suggestions on a hotel-casino that won't break the bank. We don't need anything fancy or gulf view, just clean and safe. Thanks...

Check web sites for Treasure Island, Isle of Capri, Imperial Palace. Grand and especially Beau Rivage will be most expensive

I don't do the gambling scene much, but hear from my relatives/friends who do that, if you ask and if you agree to gamble a certain amount, your room may actually be complimentary! ( I don't remember the amount, but remember it being much less than I would have thought!). Belle.

We stay at The Grand or The Beau Rivage. Yes, if you do a certain amount of gambling, they will comp the room and meal comps are available to those who gamble. You must join the players club at each casino and use your card each time you gamble in order to take advantage of these comps.
The Isle Of Capri and The Majic may have less expensive rooms. From others I have heard that these places are clean. You might also check the website for The Palace. |
Yes, I stayed at the Beau Ravage. That entire area around Biloxi is rather inexpensive compared to the LV or AC.
Now the Beau Ravage sends me a comp couple of days and $100 free play ceritificate each month and I haven't been back there in over a year. Actually just went once. I played about $200 maximum and wasn't a winner, but lost very little- almost even. So it is well worth it to get their player's card, if you ever plan on coming back. Most comps I have received on the very smallest play and shortest stay was Beau Ravage, Biloxi. Don't miss Mary Mahoney's across the street. Breakfast to the fancy dinner in the back guest dining room- entire outfit is well worth a complete of visits. Slow but delicious, and beignets as well. |
I stayed at the Isle of Capri a few years ago and thought it was a bargain. Nice, clean but smaller than many others. It is on the coast.
We stayed there on a golf included package. Imperial Palace looked nice and we played there a bit. They are off the coast just a few blocks. |
