Biloxi Day trips?
 

Will be in Biloxi at end of Aug 2001 for 5 days and would like to take some day trips if possible. Are there any plantations, towns or attractions that should not be missed? We plan to spend one day making the trip out to Ship Island. Can we catch a ferry from Biloxi or do we need to go to Gulfport for that? Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!

This may be too obvious to mention, but I assume you realize New Orleans is only 90 miles from Biloxi.
