Billy's Chowder House in Wells
 

Has anyone ever heard of Billy's Chowder House in Wells. I was wondering if it was worth visting and if anyone has thoughts on the place.

My husband and I ate lunch there in early May. We had our first ever lobster rolls and they were delicious! It was pretty busy too, which I always take as a good sign. I would definitely recommend it. (Looks like in the summertime there might have been a smaller place up the road to handle more customers - can't remember the name of it, but it was associated with the Chowder House)

It's a local favorite. The chowder is good - I don't find it exceptional but it's a fine place to go if you're in the area.

We ate dinner there at the end of June and it was really good! It was busy (I think a Thursday night). Chower was great! I had stuffed sole which was excellent! Go, if you can!
