Billy Joel's Movin' Out

Looking for reviews on this show. Has anyone seen it yet?

Not a bad show. I enjoyed the Producers and The Graduate better.

The music is very familiar, but I can't place it.

This isn't a reveiw, but here is the link for information from Playbill.com on this musical http://www.playbill.com/cgi-bin/plb/...ector=Broadway

It's gotten good reviews, and Fodor's posters have praised it highly.

If you like dance and billy joel music, you will like the show. There is NO dialogue and no plot. There is a loose theme tying the songs together, but, it is very loose. Just relax and enjoy the dance. Second act is better than the first, so even if you aren't loving it, stick around until the end.

Aren't all musicals equally silly? Occasionally something like Miss Saigon comes along but aren't they all kind of lame?

I saw the London production

I actually saw the NY production also and the differences were night and day.

I was under the impression that this was more of a Twyla Tharp dance show than a "Musical"? As in Push Comes to Shove?
