Biking Door County

My DH & I are headed up Door County mid October for a long weekend. I'm looking for suggestions on good biking routes. We've biked Peninsula State Park, but we want to explore more of the area. How are the other state parks in terms of biking? We have hybrids, but prefer paved roads/paths. We don't mind biking on roads as long as there's not heavy traffic. We were considering taking the ferry & biking Washington Island (never been there), but from some reviews it sounds somewhat uninteresting. Any tips are appreciated!

P.S. Also any recommendations on a fish boil; we've heard the Old Post Office was good. Are they all buffet style, or do they just serve up a plate? thanks!

DH bikes over 100 miles per week and this is the web-site he uses. (I hope the link works).

Can't be of help with the biking but the Square Rigger Lodge in Jacksonport (on the "quiet side")has a great fish boil. It is sit-down. We like it better than the White Gull Inn or The Old Post Office which are buffet style.

We were there mid September. We went to the fish boil at the White Gull Inn in Fish Creek. After watching the boil outside, we were taken inside to fill our plates buffet style and sit at our table in the dining room. However, from that point on, everyting is brought to you--drinks, dessert, more fish if desired, etc. They even come around and debone the fish for you. We enjoyed it.
