Big Island Resturants - Best Values?

What have you found to be the best values in resturants on the Big Island? Affordable, good food, good portions? Thanks for your input!

On the Kona side, we second the JohnD for Bubba Gumps in the affordable catagory. Also, Kona Brewing Company. On the Hilo side, we like Cafe Pesto in Hilo and Luquins Mexican restaurant in Pahoa.

Ken's House of Pancakes in Hilo. The coconut syrup was SO good!!! They are open 24 hours a day.

Bubba Gump's is a CHAIN, so you can get their food anywhere. :-(

You can get Bubba Gumps food other places, but not with the Kona water view. Besides, monalua asked for affordable, good food with good portions - again I say, Bubba Gumps.

I had a $12 blackened Ono sandwich at Huggo's on the Rocks. Yum! I'm still thinking about that sandwich. Even though it was such a simple meal it was one of the highlights of my trip. I also liked Cafe Pesto along the Kohala Coast in the Kawaihae Center.
