Big Island Restaurants

Any suggestions for child friendly, moderately priced restaurants on the Big Island? We will be staying at the Kona Coast Resort. I have found lots of information on dining in Maui but don't have much on Big Island dining.

We enjoyed our lunch at Bubba Gump's, right on the ocean a few blocks south of Palani (the main road off the highway from the airport down into Kona). We sat on the porch (wrong word?) and enjoyed the palms and the sound of the waves while we waited for our shrimp. There were kids at several tables nearby.

We had a great dinner at Edward's at Kanaloa in Kona. Beautiful patio setting right on the water's edge.

The Big Island Steakhouse in the Waikoloa area has good ribs, etc. It is in the King's Shops mall, so you can combine the trip to dinner with shopping.

Bubba Gumps, or Huggo's were both place we ate. there were kids there, both are ocean front on Alii drive in Kona. Moderately priced, BG's would be more fun for kids.
