Biddingfortravel.com data lost - to be restored?

Thought I'd mention to would-be Priceline sleuths that apparently the internet host for www.biddingfortravel.com, ezboards, was the victim of hackers over the past couple of days, and that much of their data base was deleted or otherwise compromised. So if you're in a big need for Priceline guidance, you probably better look at www.betterbidding.com for the time being.

You can see information on this at the BFT site.

Holy crap what a mess!

I guess they've lost all of their historical information because the hackers wiped out all of the backup files also.

Ya think Sheryl pi$$ed off the wrong person? LOL! Hope they get things straightened out.

Actually, most of the historical info sounds like it can be restored. It's just the last month's worth of data that is iffy. Older stuff is there.

And as to Sheryl being the culprit . . . Well, it wasn't just BFT that was hit, but the entire ezboard group.

I checked it yesterday, 6-1-05 and the location I was looking for had several pages of postings. I read as far back as March before I quit.

I found the info I wanted, used it on Priceline and got the hotel at the price others had stated.

Perhaps someone asked a question in the wrong way and it was Sheryl who got ticked off and she wiped out the board.
