So far no one's mentioned a couple of my favorite events: the U-District Street Fair (coming up May 19-20) and the Folklife Festival at Seattle Center (Memorial Day weekend). Both of these are fun (and free) events.

And a favorite place: the Arboretum, particularly in the spring and fall.

I enjoyed a daytrip over to Bainbridge Island. Great little shops. Beautiful marina. Great place for photos and just sitting with that cocktail and a good meal.

Also was impressed with the Seattle zoo.

That was my first trip to Seattle. Great city for a week. I'd do it again!
