Beware of Agajohnson posts

Person with this screen name has responded to every post this AM with same message about shoes and a website selling them - I have notified Editors.

tchoiniere Mar 4th, 2009 03:03 AM

I did the same thing.

emalloy Mar 4th, 2009 03:04 AM

Thanks I just noticed this message.

artstuff Mar 4th, 2009 03:30 AM

I also e-mailed the editors.

Robyn :)>-

Are the editors on west coast time so no one will respond until noon? There could be viruses embedded in a message like this, I hope no one clicks on the link.

That was the only reply to my question, but scrolling through I had noticed yours so I backtracked and read your warning. Thanks for being so observant!

Editors are on east coast time.

tucsontraveler Mar 4th, 2009 05:27 AM

Hi Everyone:

I have also sent a message regarding this. It was the only response to my post too.

cfc Mar 4th, 2009 05:48 AM

Gone. Just as I was posting on the "grand dame" thread.

At least it wasn't an ad for live nude on-line virtual hot babes.

Sorry for the disruption; I thought I had cleaned out this poster's 90 posts at once but it's taking longer than expected for the deletions to go through. They should be off shortly.

dfr4848 Mar 4th, 2009 07:26 AM

Thanks Katie for the update

Katie_H Mar 4th, 2009 12:49 PM

Thank you to everyone that reported this poster; I apologize that it took so long for us to get these posts off the site. We had a glitch with our admin.

Hi Katie-

Remember last week you emailed me and asked if there are posts that got deleted, do the topics still keep that deleted post's "time stamp"?

The answer is yes.
http://www.fodors.com/community/prof.../replies_1.cfm

For example, on the above page, it still shows:
trip insurance in United States
7 responses; most recent on Mar 4, 2009, 06:07 AM
View comment

Greencastle PA in United States
2 responses; most recent on Mar 4, 2009, 05:59 AM
View comment

In both topics, the most recent time stamps were the deleted posts.

yk Mar 5th, 2009 07:16 AM

I noticed that the "timestamp" issue has been fixed. Now the posts show their most recent response timestamp, and the deleted posts' timestamps have been erased.

Katie_H Mar 5th, 2009 09:09 AM

Glad this was fixed--thanks again yk. You've been VERY helpful with some of these things you've caught. You're an eagle-eye!

You're welcome, Katie. I think some of this has to do with my OCD personality. :P
