Between Clearwater and Anna Maria island
 

Looks like my spring break trip overlaps with a friends spring break. They will be in Clearwater and we will be at Anna Maria island. Any place to meet up in the middle? We will have young kids with us.

Somewhere in St. Pete Beach or Treasure Island would be about halfway. Here's a couple of places we like:

Thanks for the suggestions. Will have to do a bit of calling. Unfortunately we are complicated. I am gluten and dairy free and my son is egg and peanut free. Florida May be more difficult than I realized.

Pack a picnic lunch that pleases everyone and meet at Ft Desoto, which has in the past been voted best beach in the US by Dr Beach. The north beach is beautiful, there are picnic tables, showers and restrooms, but that's it. It is just south of Tierra Verde. Oh... It's alcohol free too.
