Bethesda Metro Station - Taxis Available?
We are attending a wedding at the William Bolger Center at 9600 Newcastle Dr., Potomac, Maryland. The website indicates that the closest metro station is Bethesda.
We thought we might stay in a hotel in DC, perhaps in Dupont Circle, and travel to the wedding via the red line & taxi (rather than stay at the Bolger Center - doesn't seem to be much around there). This way, we could spend a long weekend in downtown DC doing some local attractions rather than splitting up hotel stays.
How easy is it to get a taxi at Bethesda Metro Station? Is there a taxi rank with taxis readily available?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I was just by there last night around 6:30 pm and there were at least two taxis waiting for clients out in front (meaning they were free, just waiting to get a fare). What you may not know is that there is a very large Hyatt hotel right at that stop, and I suspect that's why cabs hang around there more than they would at some smaller suburban metro stop.
I guess I don't understand how paying at the end of the trip is so much more difficult than paying online. SOme people don't want to support companies like Uber, which has a very sleazy owner, and you don't have all the privacy concerns you would when using apps/online payments/databases, either.
If there aren't any, you can just ask someone in Hyatt to call one, or if you want to know the main cab company in that area, it is Barwood, phone 301-984-1900.
