best white water rafting in CO?

We'll be in CO the first week of Aug and have 2 options for white water rafting. Either the Cache la Poudre or the Arkansas in Buena Vista. Which one will give us more thrills?

Can't compare the two as I've only rafted from Buena Vista (eons ago).

BUT - it should be a great year for rafting as CO had a very wet winter.

Have fun.

By August the Poudre will probably be too low for white water rafting, despite the wet winter. Runoff is starting to ebb even now.

I'd stick with the Arkansas.

I agree with the recommendation of the Arkansas.

Arkansas, and its more beautiful than Poudre, or should I say, Different Beautiful? Definitely.

We love the Arkansas - we've done it twice - fun and scenic

Another vote for the Arkansas.
