Best way to get from O'Hare to Mag Mile (2 travelers)

My friend and I are flying into O'Hare next Friday and staying at Dana Hotel and Spa. Would we be better off just grabbing a cab or would a shuttle be better? I like to save money but I don't want to be on a shuttle for 2 hours.

The "L" takes less than an hour and you can laugh at the cabs and shuttles stuck in traffic

The CTA Blue Line train takes about 45-minutes. Follow the signs from the baggage levels of any of the domestic terminals. Take the train to Clark/Lake and you can catch a cab for only a few dollars or to Jackson and transfer to the Red Line toward Howard. Exit at Chicago Avenue and walk south on State Street (past the cathedral) 3 blocks.

Check www.transitchicago.com for maps and a trip planner.

Definitely the CTA Blue Line. I believe the pay-per-use fare is now $5 from O'Hare to the city. But if you plan to take the bus/trains in the city, you can buy a 1-day/multi-day pass from the vending machines located right at the turnstiles/entry to the train at O'Hare. Great job on the hotel... nice location.
