Best Vegas pool

Am planning a trip to Vegas. What is the best pool/ pool area? Mandalay?

<BR>For adults, Mandalay Bay, Mirage, Regent and Monte Carlo. For families with young children, Flamingo, MGM, and Monte Carlo.

It depends too, on when traveling to Las Vegas. Some of the pools are not heated in winter. Best to check with the hotel.

We recently had lunch outside at Mandalay Bay at Border Grill. I wanted to jump into that moving stream they have with people floating by on innertubes. It just looked way cool!!!

All good recommendations! Here is a second for The Mirage (our favorite). Waterfalls, palm trees, misters, couple of slides--not the newest but still one of the best. Also, if you like sand, I might suggest Rio Suites (pools have sandy beaches around them).

Don't forget about the Four Seasons! There are private cabanas, a very attentive wait staff walking around with water-spritzers, evian, and even fruit platters if you want. The pool itself is relatively small, but it is also right next to the amazing Mandalay Bay pool area. Best of both worlds if you ask me!

The best adult pool is at the Bellagio, NOT Mandalay Bay which is full of kids and teenagers!!

Hard Rock has a wild pool for adults. I would never take kids here as it seems every stripper and perfect body flocks and flaunts here. They have a great pool with sand, slide and music piped underwater and no kids. Very South Beach like. We just got from the Bellagio and there were only a few kids as school is in session but when school is out there are a lot of guests with kids. Mandalay has a great pool.

if you really want a good suggestion, check out www.VegasFreedom.com. its the official website of the las vegas convention and visitor's authority, and it has unbiased stuff from all the casinos and hotels. thats where i go cause i trust the info there - they have to represent all of the hotels fairly, since they technically work for all of them... anyway, i find it a fairly helpful site. though i can say from experience that the pools in vegas are all amazing in their own ways...never been to mandalay myself, but have heard great things!!!

The Hard Rock Hotel pool is awesome. Your have your choice of sitting on the sand, or the cement close to the pools edge. Attendants will seat you in your place of choice. They also have arm bands so that you don't end up with pool crashers which I have seen at other hotels. I believe they close in the winter months though, so better check on the dates.
