Apparently a couple of the bars and clubs at the Palms - especially Rain and the Ghost Bar are getting a lot of play by the 21-30+ish set. It is owned by the same family that owns the NBA Sacramento Kings and they are really courting the "beautiful" people". (this is the place they filmed the current MTV "Real World" series.)

I'm not into the "scene" but i'll second the clubs at MB and The Palms above, and will add the VooDoo Lounge at The Rio and the Hard Rock is another place "where the beautiful people hang out."

Olympic Gardens is one of the better strip clubs in the area. Ask around for others on some vegas specific message boards rather than just ask a taxi driver, as many of the drivers get kickbacks for dropping off customers.

Do the better clubs refuse entry to the less attractive people who want in? What is the criteria for "beautiful"? Are there any clubs that are more geared for "plain Janes"? Oh dear, I'd better accept my invitation to that botox party and borrow the easyglider.

Not sure about the 'heat factor' when getting into all the clubs, but I know when we went to the GhostBar all we saw were nice looking people. Some of the clubs in town can be choosey because they have a line of great looking people clammering to get in. Sad, but true.
I've been to the Voodoo Lounge and have seen all types. It's a fun place to start the evening. I've also heard Studio 54 is a diverse crowd.

Snarla

How about the bar options at Caesar's? They've got "lite strip" and regular clubs.

http://www.parkplace.com/caesars/las...ContentID=5199
