Wish I could share, but I can't as everytime I share, the availability goes down and I'm left without the Best Vacation House I ever Rented to some stranger I inspired on a travel forum.

Near Mulberry Arkansas is White Rock Mountain. We've rented the CCC cabins there and while the cabins are rustic and it's an eight mile drive up gravel roads, the view is forever and ever.

There are good hiking trails and Shore's Lake in the valley is great for fishing.

Do watch for snakes.

"White Rock Mountain - Shores Lake - Mulberry River

Just a few miles to the northeast of Van Buren is White Rock Mountain, a majestic, flat top mountain rising up out of the Arkansas River Valley to begin the Ozark plateau. This thickly forested wilderness is in the heart of the Ozark National Forest and is home to Shores Lake and campground and the wild and scenic Mulberry River.
From the top of White Rock Mountain you get a commanding view of the Arkansas River valley stretching all the way into Oklahoma. The mountaintop offers primitive camping, cabins and one of the state’s best picnic destinations. The Ozark Highlands Trail passes up and over White Rock offering short hikes as well as long distance backpacking. The entire area is criss-crossed with trails, national forest roads and old logging roads making this one of the state's best multi-use trail areas for 4WD'sand ATV's plus mountain bikes, horseback riding and hiking."

This is the best place I've ever rented in Florida. It's about three hours from my year-round home in North Florida.

The "Cedar House" is on Longboat Key just off Sarasota, on the Gulf Coast. It is a vrbo rental (I think it's the first one listed for Longboat Key) and my family has rented it for the past four years in October or November.

It's just perfect for those who love the beach. And if you love the beach but don't like sitting on the beach, you can sit in front of the huge picture window facing the Gulf for hours on end and watch dolphins, manatees, boats, people, etc. The sunsets are magnificent, area restaurants are excellent, and the house is very comfortable.

And no, I DON'T know the owner personally - I just know it's a wonderful place!

Got a neat place on Tybee Island just outside of Savannah one year. What made it great was that we hit a streak of perfect, pristine beach weather. If it had rained the whole time, I'm sure I wouldn't be writing this!

I have to agree with sistah on this one. Many the great places I've rented and raved publicly about are either now priced out of my range or unavailable because they are booked up solid.
