Best Tropical Conservatory, Aviary, Greenhouse, or Gardens?

I love the immersive exhibits many zoos now offer. In particular, I love the aviarys, especially the tropical aviaries, where you are wandering among free flying birds in tropical surroundings.

I looking to find the best tropical conservatory in the US. It does not have to be an zoo, or even include animals. I know there are some impressive tropical domes out there - Milwaukee an St Louis have them, are there others you would recommend?

To be more specific, the California Academy of Sciences inside GG Park in SF. Inside the Academy is a 4-story rainforest with free-flying birds and butterflies.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but if you love "immersive" exhibits, you need to go to the zoo in Omaha, Nebraska! They have a huge indoor rainforest, a beautiful aquarium and a desert dome. I think the website is www.omahazoo.com If not, just google it. It is well worth a special trip to see, and Omaha has some cool neighborhoods and great restaurants. It's my hometown though I haven't lived there in over 25 years.
