I heard the best prices on plane tickets/packages are on Wednesdays or early Saturday mornings. Is it just urban legend?

I just heard this on the news recently. They actually said at midnight on Wednesdays is the best time.

Airfares often change on Tuesdays. I sign up for e-mail specials from the various airline, Kayak and Travelocity.

I thought Ivan was asking about the best times to fly -- cheaper flights on Saturday mornings or Wednesdays. Sometimes true and sometimes not.

Same with booking though. They can change any time.

I'm skeptical myself, it might be the same as one of those winning in roulette theories, but who knows.
