Best Time to Visit London
What is the best month to visit London? It's just my wife and I for 4-5 days - mostly some tourist stuff, museums, churches, restaurants, etc.
|
Late May or June - warm enough but little chance for real heat and the flowers in the countryside/parks are beautiful. And most tourists haven't arrived yet. (Just watch out for Wimbledon dates.)

First of all this should be posted over on the Europe forum.
Your other thread says your 4-5 days is in Feb. Is this for a different trip? There have been nearly 20 responses on that one. |
Oops! You must have gone over the limit...everybody knows we are restricted to 19!LOL
|
No - I only meant they have already had a TON of responses to their other thread.
PFG: If you click on your name you will locate all of your posts. |
As with most places, there is no best time. It is always a balance between your schedule, cost, weather, crowds. You decide which factors are more important.
|
I will post on the Europe forum - this was an error.
Almost all of the responses to my other post dealt with Christmas which unfortunately was not my question! |
The best time to visit London would be in the fall...no tourists and the weather is divine.
|
We've been there in spring, fall and most recently in December. We enjoyed all those trips. Spring, of course, is ideal, but it was fun to see the Christmas decorations on our last visit. Guess it would depend how you feel about colder weather.
