Yes, over thanksgiving 2001 the islands were "deluged" with rain, as much as 13 inches in 2 days. But it all fell in one day and one night. The rest of the two weeks I was there was near perfect. One bad day out of 15 is not bad.

Rain is what makes the islands so green and like paradise. It happens in the summer and it happens in the winter. Sometimes there is a winter storm with a little extra rain but it is no big deal - certainly not significant enough to try to schedule around.
