Best Thai Restaurants

I hope this is appropriate for this forum, but I would like to explore Thai restaurants in my home town of Seattle. What are your favorites? I am aware of Wild Ginger, I am looking for more variety.

I live on Capitol Hill where there are at least five or six Thai restaurants within a short walk. My favorite of them is Jamjuree because the food is consistently good, and the service is friendly and efficient. Is it a great Thai restaurant? Probably not. But we like it.

Across the street from Jamjuree is Samui Thai, and on East Broadway are Rom Mai Tahi, Wedgewood Vegetarian Thai, Pinto Thai, and Jai Tahi. They all have their fans, but we aren't among them.

We have eaten an several Thai restaurants outside our neighborhood and, of them, we especially enjoyed Mae Phim Thai at 213 Pike Street, Naam Thai on 34th Avenue in Madrona, and Thai Palms on MLK.

We look for friendly service, good value, and food that has depth and complexity of flavor and is properly cooked (e.g. impeccably fresh vegetables and no tough chicken).

HTTY, good idea about urban spoon and yelp. I am just so addicted to Fodors. Thank you for your suggestions!

Jamjuree on 15th Avenue East is my go-to for Thai. I'd review it exactly as HTTY says. Dinners are better than lunch-time. It's popular, nice atmosphere, great service, consistent food quality, all the usual favorite dishes.

I haven't tried it yet, only driven by and read about it, but this new place on Madison is doing 'street' Thai food and looks very interesting.
