Best Suites in Vegas?

hi folks,

I'm planning a special occasion in Vegas for as many as 20 people. I'd like to know of the best suites that a group that size could party in and feel comfortable. Please note: I'd also like the room to accomodate 8 adults overnight. What I'm looking for is a suite that is very spacious, nicely decorated and has a view of the Strip and or surrounding mountains. Hotel casino, restaurant, pool are not important. I've heard folks mention the Venetian, Bellagio, Treasure Island, etc. But which one offers the best atmosphere (and doesn't mind a little music noise) for a party. The crowd will be strictly in the 40-60 age group. Thanks to all in advance. :)

The Venetian has suite sized room, haven't been there personally.
The Rio is an all suite hotel, have been there, it is quite nice, rooms are very big, views of mts or strip.A room on a high floor gives you a view of all the hotels on the strip. They also have great restos that accomodate large groups, they have a lot of conventions and weddings.www.playrio.com

Roger,

The Bellagio hotel offers private villas up to 6,000 square feet. They are near the lake and should be more than adequate to handle you party.

Have fun,

Denver Jim

How about a suite at the Rio? They are all suites there but a number of sizes are available and the views are wonderful.

You wrote you want at least one (1) room that sleeps 8 people?
Offhand, I'd say that requires a suite with at least 4 bedrooms unless you plan on partying in a different way that I assume.
I know of no suite hotel/casino that has 4 bedrooms.

Your pretty cheap Roger. A room for 8 adults huh. Well let me see how that would work. Are you going to sleep in shifts? Do you think 2 beds will accomidate 4 people each? Will some of your gets on this special occasion be sleeping on the floor and in the tub? I do not know of any hotel that will allow you to keep 8 adults in a room.

before you make a wisea** remark, why don't you read the post more carefully - he's looking for a suite.

Is that different than a room. WHat do you think that a suite will accomidate 8 people. Does a suite have more than two beds?

bellagio

Not Rio Mar 20th, 2002 10:25 AM

Rio is indeed all suites but the place has definitely "fallen behind the curve" in recent years. Its rooms are worn looking and were decorated for the late 1980's/early 90's and still look the part.
Size (in this case) is not everything.
Plus it's inconvenient to stay there.

Dear Denver Jim:
Unless things have changed at Bellagio, you cannot rent those private villas. You must be _invited_ to stay in them (comped, of course) IF you are a *really* high roller.
And, if you are that really high roller, they'll send a plane to pick you up -- if, sadly, your own jet is being redecorated and unavailable.

Hi Roger, from the suites I've visited on the strip (Caesar's Palace, Rio, and MGM; as a resident), they are pretty much set up more like an extrav. home away from home. The ones I've been in have only had 1-2 bedrooms with large entertainment areas - good stereos, bar, and sitting room. They would be good for a party but not to sleep more than 2 couples. Unless you have an "in" and gamble a lot be prepared to pay rack rate for the room, most are saved as comps for high rollers and/or business execs. Hope this helps and you find something to your liking!

The Four Seasons has huge suites but they cost a lot!
