Best Steakhouses in Scottsdale

I'll be staying at the Sanctuary and would like to find a great steakhouse in the general area.

Can anyone make any suggestions?

Maestro's is about the best steakhouse around. Or there is also Fleming's at the Hilton Resort which is close to the Sanctuary.

Anyone with familiarity with Drinkwaters?

Never been to Drinkwaters. My impression is that Drinkwaters, Mortons, Ruth Chris' and a couple of others are all in the same boat...

Drinkwaters ... Never been there but from the looks of their website it looks pretty nice to me.

It's located just so of Fashion Square (Camelback/Scottsdale Rds.)right near the new and upcoming shops/restaurant at the Waterfront.

mdtravel: have you stayed at the Sanctuary before? I'm considering it for my 40th bday next year. I've heard it's wonderful.

Make sure you eat at elements at Sanctuary and try to get a table by the ceiling to floor windows at sunset.

elements is obviously not a steak house...

Flemings on Lincoln and Scottsdale rd, it is a chain, but a very good one, as are most of the steakhouses in town. Sanctuary is a wonderful place to stay. Elements restaurant is somewhat Asian inspired, with a billion dollar view.
