Best Steakhouse

Can anyone recommend a great steakhouse in Dallas?

I have been to Chophouse in Chicago, Morton's in Boston and Bern's in Tampa so standards are kind of high.

Thanks

My husband likes Ruth's Chris.

The best one's ,IMHO, are (in no particular order) Bob's Steak & Chophouse, Papa's Bros. Steakhouse, Perry's, Ruths Chris, and Del Monico's.

I personally love Perry's. It's incredibly romantic and some of the best sides I've ever had! Papa's is a huge favorite, also.

Yes, love Perry's too - forgot about that one!

Papa's is wonderful.

I am also a big fan of Bern's and have been there several times. In MHO, Nick and Sam's in Dallas is at least as good if not better. Pappas is also good. Morton's is ok, but not on the same level. I am not a fan of the Palm or Ruth's Chris, etc, though I don't have anything against chain steak houses in general.

There was an interesting article on this subject in a recent edition of USA Today: http://www.usatoday.com/travel/desti...s_N.htm?csp=34

Kasperlie is right on. Bob's is my favorite local. Pappas is a Texas chain that's $$$ but very good. Likewise Al Bernaise is a superb local at a price. Perry's is also a Houston?Dallas group that is excellent at a reasonable price.
