Best Sovenir Shop In WDW

Hello

A friend is travelling to WDW and I would like to ask for a few items to bring back. Can you please tell me where the best shops are within WDW and not in the park.

Have not been there since 2000 but I think I remember a big store located in Pleasure Island complex as well.

Thank you.

Huge store at Downtown Disney plus lots of other speciality stores (eg Christmas ornaments) also at Downtown Disney

Yes, be sure to visit Downtown Disney -- they carry most of the items that you see in the theme parks.

They have a themed toy store, a Christmas store, even a "everything's under $10" store!

If you have a car, head to one of the local factory outlet stores, Disney has stores in some of them that carry items no longer sold in the parks (and discounted, too).

Have fun!

That would be the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney (same general area where Pleasure Island is located). Huge selection.

I would also agree with the World of Disney in Downtown Disney, but don't overlook some of the smaller, quaint shops located in some of the parks with themed merchandise specific to that park or nearby attraction.

MouseGear in Epcot is also the largest merchandise shop in any of the theme parks

Unfortunately, WDWRadioShow, the merchandising trend in WDW has been going more and more generic. Was much better when the theming was carried into the stores.

I want to hit an outlet on my way out of WDW while headed to Siesta Key. Where can I find one?

There are two Disney outlet stores at the Prime Outlets on International Drive (called Character Warehouse -- there's one in each main building).

Definitely some awesome deals!

Definately Downtown Disney. If staying at a Disney hotel, they'll send the packages to the hotel for you. In the Magic Kingdom the left side of Main Street are interconnected shops.
