Best songs about traveling?

Some recent posts that have been popular have asked about favorite songs to listen to while traveling, or best scenic drives in the US. How about the best songs recorded about/mentioning travel?

I'll start with America by Simon & Garfunkle. "...it took m 4 days to hitchhike from Saginw, and I 've come to look for America..."

How about Bob Seger's "Roll Me Away". I also love the entire Thelma & Louise soundtrack, great road music.

"Freedom Of the Road" by Martin Sexton. This song moves me to tears when I hear it live or on CD, momst especially live. Have heard him perform this many times and hope to repeat the experience this summer.

Anything from the soundtrack of Easy Rider ( 'specially when I'm on my motorcycle - where I have to 'play it in my head' - if you see what I mean ).

At the ripe old age of 26, I have come to the realization that the best road/traveling songs came out in the 70's, early 80's. Why is that?

I just cannot imagine Britney or her ilk coming out with anything as great as the songs mentioned above.

I also love songs that make me feel like I'm faraway, songs about other places.
Hell, Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet makes me want to watch the sun go down over the sea with the wind in my hair and a cocktail in my hand!

Contributed most of my faves to that other thread, but just thought of another, Sweet Baby James, "with 10 miles behind me and 10,000 more to go ... there's a song that they sing with they take to the highway, a song that they sing when they take to the sea..."

Love when Jimmy Buffett talks about his boat in "Brahma Fear":

And some folks say I'm part of it
and I know it's part of me.
When I'm feeling solitaire it let me be alone
and when I want to habitate it carries me back home.
And I'm somewhere below the sunlight
somewhere upon the sea
You dig deep enough, you might find me,
find me cause that's where I'll be.
