Best snorkeling on the Big Island?

We have heard that there are places to snorkel where turtles can be seen on the Big Island. We'll be there in late March, staying at the Outrigger Waikoloan. Any comments on snorkeling and/or that hotel? Thanks!

Bob, Kahaluu Beach Park , south of Kailua-Kona, has a few turtles that feed on the reef. Best to go early or late afternoon. Also south island beach, Punaluu Black Sand Beach has lots of turtles in the water, and also hauled out on the sand. This area has much rougher surf, so be careful.
